Holt Lunsford Commercial (HLC) is Dallas-based commercial real estate services firm providing services like property management, leasing and development, to owners and tenants of industrial buildings. The firm operates in a highly competitive market and focuses on increasingly institutionalized $50 billion real estate services industry. The industry is both cyclical and seasonal. Holt Lunsford, the owner, wants to expand the firm. 

HLC has been able to expand rapidly since 1993 due to the organizational values and organizational chart. The organizational values have retained and increased customers as they emphasize ethical work and customer service. Similarly, the organizational Structure gives each office autonomy in their region. Moreover, hiring well-educated and driven employees and tying employee compensation to their performance has further enhanced the firm’s profitability.
