Initially, the cars produced by Rover Car Company were thought to be as the Doctor’s Car. The image of the car was such that it is only reliable during emergency. However, lack of developmental infrastructure after the Second World War Land Rover to come up with a new model of the car to remain in the highly competitive automotive industry. Land Rover wanted to gain a significant market share in the market by getting an early mover’s advantage. The two current products that were available at the market did not fully satisfy the customer’s needs within their individual capacity.
